Recovery

Bruising, redness and swelling will be present for the first three to four days post-treatment with reduction by end of day seven. Ice packs are recommended for 24-48 hours following treatment to reduce swelling. Effective pain management will be discussed and prescribed prior to treatment. Avoiding strenuous activity, massage and excessive facial animation is advised. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled between six to eight weeks post-treatment to assess results.

How It Works

Operating the Tulip Fat Transfer System—the gold standard in fat transfer—the treatment begins with liposuction (suction-assisted fat removal) from areas of the body where excess fat can be harvested. The removed fat is then filtered and prepared for grafting. Fat transfer is administered through injections of the targeted areas.
