Treatments
During a consultation with Cutis' Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Ron Lemckert, ENT, a general health assessment will be made to ensure treatment suitability. The treatment is performed under local or general anesthetic and last around one hour.
Recovery
A compression bandage will be fitted and worn round-the-clock for the first two days. Following and for one to two weeks, the compression bandage will be worn at night only. A mild amount of swelling, bruising and redness are to be expected. Ice packs can be applied to maximize comfort. Effective comfort management will be reviewed and prescribed by Dr. Lemckert. Patients will require a few days away from most regular activities, including work.
