How can I make an initial appointment?
Our coordinators are available by phone and email, through normal business hours, Monday through Saturday to schedule consultations, follow-ups and treatments. Contact them today!
Is there a charge for consultations?
Professional consultations with Dr. Karen Edstrom or Dr. Ron Lemckert are offered for a redeemable treatment fee. General inquiries as well as skincare and maintenance consultations are provided by our nurses and specialized skin care staff and are offered complimentary. Contact us for details.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled consultation or treatment time. Your initial consultation will involve a comprehensive medical and skin health questionnaire. Subsequent treatments will involve consent forms and aftercare review. As a medical facility, we will require your OHIP number and the name of your family physician.
What happens at an initial consultation?
During your initial consultation, our providers will introduce you to the scope of aesthetic practice here at Cutis. We will educate you on the effects of time, sun and genetics on the overall health of your skin. We will determine your skin objectives and work with you to formulate an integrated treatment strategy to suit your unique budget and lifestyle. Your consultant will be readily available in follow-up to answer any questions and as an ongoing skin resource.
Will OHIP cover my visit?
While we are prudent about obtaining a complete medical history to ensure optimal care, the services at Cutis are considered elective. Therefore, treatment costs are a personal expense.
