Botox Therapeutic® Treatments

Used to treat a number of medical conditions. BOTOX THERAPEUTIC® treatments for migraines can relieve and prevent debilitating headaches, while BOTOX THERAPEUTIC® injections into the masseter (jaw) muscle can reduce jaw pain, teeth grinding and over development of the muscle.

BOTOX THERAPEUTIC® treatments can also treat hyperhidrosis for excessive underarm sweating and sweaty palms (hyperhidrosis). The purified protein known as botulinum toxin A aids in temporarily relaxing the muscles which cause painful migraines and disrupts the chemical signals that activate the sweat glands responsible for excessive sweating - hyperhidrosis.

The effect of the BOTOX Therapeutic ® injections will be realized within 1 to 14 days of treatment.
Last up to 3-12 months for therapeutic purposes.
Some redness and swelling may occur at pinpoint sites of injection, lasting approximately 30 minutes to an hour. You can return immediately to all regular activities.
Some extended health plans will cover BOTOX THERAPEUTIC® treatments for medical reasons. Confirm with your provider prior to treatment.

Fillers

Provided by Dr. Edstrom, Dermatologist, Dr. Ron Lemckert and Dr Trevor Lewis, Cosmetic Facial Surgeons, and our trained nurse injectors, dermal fillers such as Radiesse, Juvederm, Sculptra, Restylane, Belotero, and Revanesse offer natural solutions to help improve facial contours and replace tissue volume lost through the ageing process.

Popular for lifting, augmenting, enhancing and contouring the cheeks, nose, under eyes, jaw line, lips, and marionette lines around the mouth.
20-40 minutes.
Results will enhance over 6-8 weeks following treatment as water molecules bind to the dermal filler products. Lasts 9 months or longer.
2 hours – 2 weeks. Bruising, tenderness, and swelling are possible following dermal filler injections. Our Team is an expert in the cannula injection method which helps to reduce the number of injection sites and, therefore, minimizes bruising, swelling and discomfort. While most results are immediate, it can take up to two weeks for full recovery.
Topical anaesthetics may be offered to alleviate the possibility of discomfort.

Neuromodulators

Provided by Dr. Edstrom, Dermatologist, Drs. Ron Lemckert and Trevor Lewis, Cosmetic Facial Surgeons, and our trained nurse injectors.

Neuromodulators (such as BOTOX COSMETIC® treatments) are a preventative, non-invasive skin rejuvenation method to smooth wrinkles and expression lines. Dr. Lemckert is an injection training consultant for Allergan and Prollenium, training other medical professionals in advanced injection techniques for JUVÉDERM® facial filler and BOTOX COSMETIC® treatments.

Areas that can be treated for wrinkle reduction include frown lines, crows feet, forehead lines, brow lift, bunny lines (nose), gummy smile, sad smile, lips, chin, neck lines, and neck bands.
15-20 minutes.
Regular treatments are recommended to maintain results.
Results 3-4 months.
